iTablet Features

According to the French

Nobody knows what is going to be featured on the iTablet, but that sure has not prevented anybody from guessing.  From all the rumors, myths, and/or gossip I have heard regarding the iTablet, not one website is reporting what I believe Steve Jobs is actually going to debut.  And with that, I shall start my own list of what I believe to be features on the iTablet.  Eat it Engadget and Gizmodo!

1.)    It will be connected to a carrier.  You think its Verizon, I think they need to debut the product on the established carrier, AT&T.  This will get the device connected to the app store one way or another which is key.

2.)    The Apple Keynote will announce that the device can receive a tv signal. ATSC just approved the dishing out of the spectrum through WIFI yesterday.

  1. Apple will announce a program for advertisers (Google Ads, something else) to stream in ads through the digital tv feed.
  2. PVR capabilities in conjuction with a UVerse or VIOS package which will stream or download content via iTunes

3.)    Spaces for tablet

4.)    Flash support for Safari (iphone v4.0)

New World Order?…er…New EU Order?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

So I was looking at country codes this morning and something caught my eye. A chart on Wikipedia has the EU country code reserved! You heard me right.

countrycodes

Doing another search, I saw that the EU is also in the process of reserving their own domain.

ICANN Approves .eu Domain Space By Jim Wagner, Internet News (Mar 25) — European Union is one step closer to its own country code top-level domain. Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has approved the .eu domain. It will take another few months before we’ll see it in use. Some have wondered if it will cause confusion – when should you use a .uk or .fr, and when .eu?

What gives? Could the EU and the UN combine forces and take over the world?
